I see people who got tattoos in the early 2000s, when they started to become popular in Romania and they look sad as hell, they are simple, amateurish, with outdated stuff like Chinese letters, barb wires and other crap, the people who have them also look like crap: middle aged, out of shape, bald, etc...
I've seen several times in public even women with tramp stamps(the word and concept didn't even exist in Romania back then, but many girls got a lower back tattoo because it was trendy), but now they were mothers, their kids were with them, great way to let them know you were a tramp in your youth...
