With the rapid rise of AI, 80% of tech jobs are projected to be replaced.

What is the best move currently to make money, cause it seems the reliable tech degree is patched.

Not all of them, actually some of them will start to thrive. You can expect some tech degrees to start becoming obsolete in 5–10 years, but not in as little as 2 years. The ones I believe will last the longest will obviously be software engineer, computer science and computer engineering.

Yeah I agree. Its still kinda nerve racking though since im half way done with a cybersec bachelor

Luckily I can apply my IT/Cybersec information into trades which cant be replaced by AI

Yeah, IT/Cybersec will probably be the degrees that will last the least with the growth of AI, but realistically we're still a couple decades away before that happens, so that's not going to be an issue for you at all. People like to claim that software engineers (or really most tech degrees) will get replaced soon and whatnot, but people saying that have almost never worked with the latest AI coding tools available, AI is a tool as of now, it cannot do anything by itself.

As with any tool, if you have you do not have the skills to use them properly (technical skills in this context), it'll be useless. Things like Cursor are really useful to make the coding process much smoother and faster, but that's about it for the foreseeable future, no-code tools aren't good, and they will stay that way for quite some time.

Don't worry bro, we're safe, at least until the AI uprising

CS degress and CS skills have been useless for the last 3 years already. In most countries they were useless the whole time.

You won’t be replaced if you are good at it, 90% of CT students are useless

Tech sales is where it’s at. If actual tech jobs become obsolete, you can hopefully use your tech knowledge to sell it.

What do you have against my signature
