Do you think that people have an innate sense of what is good looking, or is it purely shaped by external influences?

I think looks isn't fixed but conditioned imo by certain exterior factors as culture and media portrayals dictate what is posited as attractive which keeps on changing through time (went from kpopmaaxing/prettyboymaxxing to now a more masc look). We can also go through the images from the past and it varies quite drastically with the development of cultures and historical periods.

70% preferences dictated by evolutionary forces. 30% social conditioning.

Just saying that 70% of beauty preferences are driven by evolution would leave you ignoring the fact that standards for beauty are all socially constructed under the influence of media, culture, and personal experience, that largely override any perceived biological dispositions nowadays.

Comprehension fail.

It's social and cultural factors that mainly shape beauty standards rather than natural evolutionary instincts. For example, these standards can vary drastically from one culture to another, and also from one time to another thats an indication that the biological influence is perhaps less significant than commonly believed.
