do you think that thinking about yourself having low cortisol even if its not true lowers your cortisol levels ?

I was thinking about this due the fact that people who think they aren't stressed normally don't tend to end up stressed yet if you are constantly thinking about your stress and if you are stressed you might cause stress levels to rise during December last year I just kept thinking that my cortisol was low and that I wasn't very stressed and throughout that month I didn't have many spots on my face appear and I didn't feel bloated at all maybe its just me tricking myself but i think there is some logic behind thinking you have high stress/cortisol levels when you don't and increasing it because of that and then thinking you have low cortisol/stress levels when you don't which lowers it slowly
Lemme know thoughts on this ?
