England london piccadilly royal acadamy of arts the farnese hercules statue 2B6Y89Y

The statue was made in year 216 after christ. the statue is farnese hercules. There were no steroids back then and they wouldn't know how to sculpt in such proportions because they would not know what muscles like that would look like. So it wasn't a lie, the man really looked like that. I know 100% that if I post this in the subreddit "natty or not" all the gymcels would say hercules was on steroids. The moment they see a slightly aesthetic body, those coping retards say roids.

You never heard of the word imagination? It’s not like they couldn’t imagine how even more muscle mass would look like on a body.

But theoretically he could have looked like this. 99.9% genetics or whatever.

why is there a child in the background? is this some sort of coded message, or invitation to the Elite pedo ring or whatever ring that journalist food critic, Anthony Bourdain was involved with?

sculptures are not people

They sculpted the sculptures to show what they thought of as the ideal human form. Lots of people were lower bodyfat back then and with the physical labour many had some muscle definition. Definitely not to this extent, but enough to know what a big ripped body would look like

This is the equivalent of posting a drawing of Superman and being like there’s no steroids on krypton so he must be natty
