Do you think USA should count as one of the most influential countries in history?

Title. .Rome endured for over a millennium, the Han Dynasty shaped the world for more than four centuries, and the British Empire for hundreds of years. By comparison the United States is just a little over 250 years old but has an enormous impact and has been extremely influential since it's very founding. It's an historical anomaly because it generally took empires decades to find a footing but US was different or is it just recency bias.

Recency bias. British controlled most of the world less than 100 years ago

Influence is very recent. British Empire being bankrupt lead to rise to America after WW 2

can't think of a reason why it shouldn't

the past 100 years has seen more progress than the last 1000
