If you were to ever be suspect of a site unrelated crime, they could theoretically request your browsing story to the internet provider to and with this maybe make further associations. But apparently data providers don't storage this information and even give shared IP to multiple users since I've been banned for "having same IP" here... even then they'd have to demonstrate that the device is yours.

Most people have nothing to worry about as they won't be involved in anything for this trolling to be relevant.
