He was the first to push the whole aesthetics thing hard back when the fitness youtube content was first becoming popular but at this point u can go on youtube and see a huge amount of people exactly like he was (tren twins etc) so I dont understand why he would be popular with them. Frankly dont understand the appeal at this point. Took a bunch of drugs and died young even if he hadn't died from DNP and/or speedballing the blasting tren year round would of killed him by thirty - mid thirties anyway.

Here's my hypothesis.

He hid behind a social mask / persona of being superficially cocky, charismatic and low inhibition.

These are traits a lot of Zoomers lack. They lack social finesse, charisma, humour etc. They are socially stunted due to social media. If you watch his videos on chaturbate he was the epitome of I don't give a fuck about what you think; 'I just know i'm a sick cunt'.

This don't give two fucks what you think attitude is what many Zoomers that don't fit in want. It's called being a Sigma Male edge-lord. There are many movies that capture the sigma male edge-lord in male characters over the years.

Not to mention his physique was aesthetic. The tren twins are not aesthetic. They are just big. Aesthetic = beauty

Also keep in mind he was coked up and drugged up in allot of his chaturbate clips im pretty sure he had a bad recreational drug problem way before it escalated to his overdose

I'm 33. I grew up through the Zyzz era. Was never a fanboy, but yeah he was all over regular forums and talked about irl in social circles. Especially when he died.

Yes, because back in the late 2000s and early 2010s having just 10,000+ subbers on YouTube was a win. That was success.

It was far harder to gain a following. Remember people weren't glued to social media back then because once they left the home, that was it, they no longer had social media. It was all always only on the computer. The first smartphomne only came out in 2010 and it wasn't till around 2013 that most people had one. He died in 2011. Plus Twitter and Instagram were in their VERY early stages in 2009-2012, not forgetting the AI algorithm only came out in 2013, so it was mostly what you SEARCHED for, rather than were recommended

He was underground cult popular. He didn't have the opportunity to go mainstream. At least... not until he died.

Skywalker looks great but is a framecel and really narrow (might look wide shirtless in lighting with popped delts but look at him in a shirt). The reason zyzz physique looked better is because he had extremely wide shoulders I recall a video of him walking along a busy street in a shirt and being 2-3x the width of ppl he was walking past. Cant find the clip now
This is the clip guess it wasnt a shirt but still illustrates the point. No pump or good lighting just extremely wide compared to everybody else

Seems sensible, but i think it's also just zyzz has a retro appeal to zoomers. Especially as zoomers have shortened the retro cycle a bit.
