My facial asymmetry is due to Anterior Disk displacement (ADDwR) in jaw, causing my disk to be dislocated and my jaw therefore to be asymmetrical.
This happened around 4 years ago and my previous ortho was too stupid to notice and therefore my face kept getting more asymmetrical, my new ortho however gave me good braces and has now prepared my jaw for surgery because he intends to fix my ADDwR with a surgery, but funny enough he recommended a bimax.
The bimax is not intended to be cosmetic but i mean like if im getting one anyone is there any advice or anything i should tell the surgeon im going to? because he is just going to get the medical files from my ortho, ill have a discussion with him multiple times before the surgery of course and are there any specific things i should tell him?
