I messaged my doctor this: "I was wondering if I could get an x-ray done to see if my growth plates are still open"

and a nurse responded to me saying: "Good afternoon, After speaking with Dr. ___ and reviewing his assessment from your physical in April, there is no need for an xray to evaluate growth plates. Due to your level of puberty at your last well visit, Dr. ___ states that you are still growing and likely still growing for a few years.

I'm 17 turning 18 in January

When I went to the doctor in April he said that I was in tanner stage 3 which is also what I was the year prior.
