Doctors appointment help

I Have a doctors appointment and I am trying to get a hormone panel for the testosterone im gonna be taking. How should I tell the doctor?? like do I larp low libido and low energy and stuff or do i just ask. Anything i need to know?

note: im going through my health insurance cuz bloodwork is so expensive

Larp but I think if you take birth control before a blood test it will temporarily lower your test but I'm not positive so look up a guide on here
