Does a downturned nose always mean that the maxilla is recessed? And is assymetry fixable?

It's hard to tell if your downturned nose is from a recessed maxilla because we have no visual to go off of.

As for asymmetry it can be due to a multitude of things such as uneven bite or uneven facial muscles due to natural expressions, chewing etc.

If it's an uneven bite, you can try orthodontics or tmj massages to hopefully mitigate some of the lopsided nature of your jaw

Uneven facial muscles is simple to fix, you can train your facial muscles to even them out
