Does a palatal expander give more fg?

I’m 90% getting a palatal expander because i have sleep apnea, I have a narrow palate and a recessed maxilla. On my side profile you can see that my maxilla is recessed backwards. Will it project forward and give me more FG if i get an expander? I’m 15 btw if that matters

No not forward unless you have one of those that Bwython has with the rubberbands, but it will make your zygos like 1mm more prominent

Isn’t it for correcting underbites tho? Won’t i just get a bigger overbite?

I don’t have an overbite, but an open bite. Mb for writing wrong, but i want more forward growth in general, not just my upper jaw, thats what i was wondering
