Does a widened and developed maxilla promote mandible growth?

I had a palate expander a few years ago when I was 10 but I turned the key the wrong way like a retard and it didn’t work. Since a couple of months ago I’ve been thumbpulling to try widen my palate and my maxilla and I want to know if a developed maxilla will promote jaw growth.

depends. i have a wide palate and a high fwhr but i have a flat gook maxilla
