I just started taking Accutane, I finally gave in after about a year of deciding whether to take it or not and the main reason I was scared to take it was because I didn’t want to slow down my growth rate or cause my plates to close. I want to hear someone else’s take on this. Because all my friends who have taken are short and say that accutane is the reason, although their probably just coping. There have been studies showing changes in bone metabolism but that’s usually linked to higher doses for long periods of time.

it doesn't close them directly but can cause premature epiphyseal closure in some cases, it also affects bone density and cartilage health, so be careful with high dosages
