They're different, I've been doing pregab since 2023 recreationally.
Alcohol is more impairing, youll have that "fucked up feeling" like when you're in the bathroom at a party spinning n shit.
Pregab has the same disinhibiting feeling as alcohol (weaker) that make you say things you wouldnt say, and it also has a dopaminergic push to socialize (which alcohol also has but id say its on par with alcohol)

I enjoy pregab to go out, when im clubbing ill take pregab and drink, if im meeting girls at a bar ill just take pregab and drink water. The low inhib effect is weaker but the biggest difference is the fuckedupness feeling which makes you do stupid shit, pregab doesnt have that while alcohol does. There is a distinction there, for example xanax will make u ultra low inhib without making you fucked up and ketamine will make you fucked up without making you suuuuuper low inhib.

I get a mental hangover from it, feel stupid, unmotivated and slightly depressed 24 hours after the dose that lasts 2-3 days if i dose more than 400mg. Not super addictive in the sense that you get a compulsion to use more but definitely causes withdrawal if overused.

I actually love to combine 300mg of pregab with 40mg baclofen

The effect is very similar to alcohol IMO (maybe bcs of baclo), and besides it makes me a bit more social.

For some reason though, if I take it after a heavy dinner, it takes at least 4.5/5 hours to start acting (yeah ik it's weird)
