Perhaps, but personally, I find movie stories might have an interesting premise but suffer because of the short length. 2-3 hours just doesn't get me connected with the characters. Just long-term interaction over weeks of playing a video game creates such an investment in the story and characters that, for me, vidya mogs.

np lol. I agree with what you said about movies tho, one of the reasons I almost always prefer books and vidya. The only times where I actually prefer movies is in sci-fi series with big budgets. I love the special effects tbh ngl. I'm definitely feeling that with the witcher franchise. I'm 2 books away from having read them all. I'm gonna start playing The Witcher 3: The wild hunt after that.

Witcher 3 is my favorite video game of all time tied with Red Dead Redemption 2 tbh. The detail and the overall character and world development was exemplary. I highly recommend you get both the expansions. For the money you pay, you get so much quality content, more than most other companies are willing to add in expansions.
