You could win the lottery or your house could go up in value 200% and boom you escaped your genetics:smonk:or, you could be a chad and then have me throw a bunch of acid on your face and boom now you’re an incel with chad DNA:ROFLMAO:

Depends what kind of arguments you are looking for. I believe the only way out of genetic determinism is the existence of a soul, and that can only be argued a priori.

I can make an entire thread on this if niggas are interested but it’s probably too high IQ for the retards here

That rly doesn't tackle your problems

True genetic determinsm says your genes will always react in a certain way depending on the situation

But the environment controls how you will react

Yea I just tried explaining to a guy why him hating me is genetic and he put the disgusted emoji like An immature kid

Reality is so bad they gotta cope

You have a narcy nigger foid in your avi i doubt your iq is higher than 80

You all don't understand that genetic determinsm doesn't say this is the life determind for you

Instead what is determined is how you will react to events and your environment over time

For example a guy might react to win by jumping and another by clapping

You could just visit a poor country and see how it feels to be a rich guy.
It's nothing compared to having a GL face. Being worshiped and validated for existing >>>>> something external like money (people just see you as a opportunity to be used like an ATM).

Genetic mutation and incompatibility in terms of how they reflect facial features. Not much of a biologist so I could be wrong

A lot of factors but mainly are health and superior genetics/adaption

If you had optimal health you would have

Good hormonal system that makes your skin oil regulated

Frizzy breaking hair caused by lack of nutrients

Poor bone devolpment

If you look around you will release your mind evolved to recognize healthy individuals so you can have oprutnities to mate with them

Yea our understanding of what genes do exactly isn't so good but about genetic engineering and nano tech we onky have had limted shit like CRISPERs it is technically possible also we could just find the most good looking and smart individual and slightly added their genes in a simulation until we fimd a a good amount of varitey of genes that produce optimal humans

Another important fix would be more joint cartilage and wider hips for women to birth and more resilient follicoles to dht for men

Yep what is stopping the research is the ethical problems even tho we might eliminate nearly all diseases

Also the lowiqcels will be the first ones to be edited that is why they are so afraid😂

Source?have you heard the multiple stories of twins and triplets getting separated at birth just to have a similar life at the end?and As I said genetic determinsm≠determinsm

It clearly states your genes will react to situation in a certain programed way

you can just google IQ or personality correlation with Genetics. It's not a perfect correlation

Well tbh that would be hard requiring a second activion of the pitutary gland and having the growth plate open and other problems will have to be tackled

Just focus on improving for now

There exists a guy who has no wrinkles at 50

There exists a guy who has fast twitch muscles

There is a guy with no joint pain in his 60s

We should find these people treack the genes that predominantly control their cartilage growth and devolpment and copy it into the male/female zygote since these people already exists it is all abt finding the right gene

But again the problem is multiple genes do multiple things read about chromosomes and evolution

Fir staters testeorone and estrogen and every variant of them like dht

Insulin like growth factor and growth hromone aka ghg

Also all hormones are connected for example Osteocalcin inhibts testeorone synthesis and cortisol lowers testosterone

Hey bud! Next time @ me, don’t be shy! Again don’t see why you have such an inclination in calling other people kids or “lil bro” when you’re FUCKING 14. It’s just your narcissistic personality shining through, thinking of yourself as more mentally mature I’m guessing?

Also don’t see what cope you’re speaking of, I specifically said there I would no longer be replying and listed why.

Been malding for the half hour I saw this post then the site went down and couldn’t reply at all. Regardless that’s beside the point. To preface all this by the way, I don’t hate you, I don’t know why you came to that conclusion just because I called you a few names.

Like I said earlier, you’re just the perfect example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

I could see why you would come to the conclusion that genes determines all from such a superficial understanding of genes
Sure, if someone has a sufficient number of repeating CAG bases on the right spot of the end of chromosome 4, they’ll develop Huntington’s and die. It’s been so heavily researched matter a fact we can even determine the onset of symptoms from the number of the aforementioned repeating sequences. You could argue that having fatalistic views on Huntingtons is the correct way to go about it.

However this is not the norm and is rather the exception, genetic-diseases such as these, “monogenic” diseases, only make up 2% of genetic-based diseases. Usually multiple genes are involved and consequently multiple alleles, that can be expressed in multiple different ways, influenced by environment. Such complexity disqualifies this deterministic approach on genetics.

And this is no different for genotype-phenotype relationships as well, where again, multiple different genes with multiple different alleles that can be activated differently according to one’s environment determines phenotype. Some genes can even change what environment someone seeks, further adding to the complexity of genes and phenotypes. The genetic pathways for many human behaviors are completely non-tractable.

On top of this, the human brain is highly malleable, “neuroplasticity”, specially during upbringing, where environmental inputs can heavily influence one’s entire way of thinking and behaving. You also pretty much entirely dismiss the field of epigenetics where one’s environment can alter the expression of genes.

It’s even more ridiculous you believe in genetic determinism when identical twins (same exact genetic code) raised in various, different socio-economic environments, or sometimes even in similar environments, turn out completely differently personality wise. It’s so common that an often seen trope in media exists where twins are polar opposite in terms of personalities. There’s also many studies that prove you’re heavily influenced by those around you and specially by the people that raised you. Some go as far as to say you’re a mosaic of the people you love.

DNRD: Genes don’t pre-determine, they pre-dispose. They’re a hand you’re dealt and it’s up to you how you play this hand. They don’t determine how the game will end.
IMG 5708

Could you argue that you’re simply just a sum of your environment and genes? Sure, but that’s another discussion and that’s not genetic determinism, that’s plain determinism.

Well a 100 years ago unless you were born with no limbs no physical features determined your life THAT much
