I am writing stories that go against the genres trend. Instead of the hero's journey, think of the failed hero's journey. I think I can make good money on that niche.

That sounds cool. But don't do it for money. Do it for passion and for art. Otherwise you might lose passion for It if the money doesn't come soon enough.

Yea, I think the failed hero's journey fits in line with the experience most people have in reality. It's more interesting anyway than the endless hero trope stories that are out there. For example: eragon, lotr, etc.
