Does anyone else barely get sides from tret?

I've been on the stuff for maybe a week, more or less.

So far it's been pretty mild. Moderate irritation on the face some days, moderate dryness and flaking on some days. But that's almost gone at this point.

Mind you, I'm using the strongest one (tret 0.1%), so I think it's weird how I'm barely being affected by it. Perhaps I'm using bogus tret? Or maybe this is just normal for some people?

Is normal for some people. If you are moisturizing, not exposing your skin to the sun and dont have acne problems and are only using tret for aging and improve skin quality is normal to not feel much sides, speacially if you already have a thick skin(most men have).

Some people just experience no affects, if you feel you have a bogus tret maybe buy your next tube from another supplier.

I personally had no affects ever at least at 0.025%, but when I switched to a higher dosage 0.05% my entire mosture barrier got destroyed and everyone I have spoken to asks why my face is so red. I guess your lucky at no affects at 0.1% but sometimes you can get the effects later on.

Takes longer than a week to get sides IF you do, but I got limited sides: a small amount of peely skin after a month of frequent use

I think that's almost 100% avoidable as long as you don't put it on your eye lids, right?

Apparently, there's no purging phase for people with initially clear skin

yeah my acne was already bad

if you're barely acne prone to begin with you probably won't purge much at all
