“That’s crazy”

“Wow”

Wtf else am I supposed to say to acknowledge when someone else is speaking?

I think the reason I don’t know what to say and have such a small vocabulary is because I missed out on so many experiences that I can’t relate to people.

So how do I not sound like a robot just saying that’s crazy 500 times in a row

i usually just repeat "no" (which means 'yeah' in polish) untill they stop speaking

and only after they stop speaking i collect my thoughts and comment on what they actually said

and it's usually very awkward and i hate it

aidk how normies tell stories to eachother it's so mind-numbingly boring. Unless I'm genuinely intrested in a conversation I'd rather shoot a bullet in my head than continue it.

I also get zero dopamine from speaking with normies, it feels very soulless and pointless to me, I just try and play along as best I can so they don’t get disgusted

FOR REAL man i mean what else are you supposed to do than just nod? Do they want me to start applauding or getting invested in the story like it's a tragic novel

It's absolutely super soulless because 99% of the time they don't wanna talk with you either, it's just the 'norm' to talk to eachother.

It's why men can go for months or years without talking to their friends and yet are still homies. Talking is overrated and not needed because no one gaf about what u have to say
