Does anyone else look better in selfie cam?

The normal cam is supposed to take better photos but it just makes my face look sort of... compressed and weird. I don’t like it.

Can people tell which cam you use? Because I want to take photos that look like candids but with my selfie camera, for tinder.

I always use the back camera, if taking pics on my phone.

Any decent quality pics I take tho I use a Fujifilm x100 to take.

It might have something to do with me not being able to pose properly since I can’t see the screen, idk.

Selfie cameras are usually half the quality MP wise than back cameras and distort things massively is there a particular reason why u want to use selfie back is so much better.

Do they distort if you take a pic from some distance away?
It makes my features look kinda squished together if I use the back cam.

I dont think they distort as much but I'm quite sure there is always a tiny bit of distortion.
