The need of sleep; SSRI-based withdrawals can last months or years, causing you insomnia and sleep interruptions for the smallest thing possible (AKA the process of neurogenesis/homeostasis, SSRIs usually can mess someone's REM sleep).

yes thats right, i had SSRI withdrawal and it was insanely bad. anxiety spiked up very strongly, nausea, insomnia and other shit.

lorazepam gives me that idgaf feeling but in a more passive way, if you want the low inhib agressive confidence you would be better off taking adderall/vyvanse there is no WD

Sometimes, I am not able to fall asleep properly (aggravated with hot weather, taking > 1.5hs). Unfortunately, I was forced to take antidepressants and antipsychotics in my mid-teenage years: a crucial period of brain maturation. SSRI/SNRIs have been proven (unofficially) of messing up (negatively) with every aspect of your CNS, including your REM cycles. That's why some people on protracted withdrawal are hypersensitive on almost every sense... getting their sleep interrupted by the light sleep stage.

Then benzos probably won't be. Like someone else, I get way more confident with alcohol. Alcohol is both anti-anxiety and stimulating. Benzos are just anti-anxiety/depressant. By the time you take enough to crush all inhibition, you'll just be super tired and zombie.

Sometimes alcohol isn't enough for me either. That's why you do alcohol + coke at the same time, it creates https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocaethylene. This is of course a terrible idea in the grand scheme of things. Alcohol works better when I'm on Effexor.
 
Benzos didn’t help with my inhib. Try pregabalin (Lyrica) basically alcohol in a pill for me, without the calories and the hangovers.

How much are you taking and are you combining it with anything else?

Lyrica doesn't help with my anxiety or inhibition at all.

300mg was the sweet spot for me so far.
DO NOT take with food, it seems to mess it up.

It’s good if you start drinking as the effects of the pregabalin will taper off as the alcoholic effects taper on, if you time your drinking well.

I did 300mg as well. When I just do nothing by myself I feel completely drunk, almost unable to walk.
But when the effects kick in while I'm actively doing something social, I feel absolutely nothing.
Similar with a high dose of phenibut. Even with kratom, all the strong positive effects are just gone while I'm around other people.

Alcohol kind of works on the other hand but I look too drunk for it to be useful in most social situations.

And I took lyrica with food I think. On an empty stomach the side effects will probably be stronger. But I'll try that, thanks for the advice.
