I grew up in a christian family and it has always been part of my family. Letting go of my faith was hard since that was all I’ve known, but it was even harder trying to convince and lie to myself about believing in something I don’t. I might sound silly and if I am exaggerating.

Its not a matter of belief. Its moreso a matter if you like/agree with the existence of god or not.

Whether you look at the world scientifically, the concept of life itself proves god. Thats because intent. The fact that they are systems in place, like us digesting food and being able to think and create concepts, is proof of it. Its proof of intent. We dont have to understand god. Just like we dont understand how our minds work. Theres a quote i like to throw around here made by physicist Emerson Pugh that said, “If the human brain were so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't.”

Just because we dont understand "it", are afraid of it, or for whatever reason choose to disagree with it as a concept, does not mean it doesnt exist or functions.

fcuk all of the religious nonsense. That's a derivative. The best way for us to think of god ,and not confuse ourself is to think of it as the answer to the paradox of life. For example, for everything created, their has to be "something" that created it. If you believe in evolution, then what instructed those conditions to occur? If you say big bag, then what instructed that to occur? This question repeats itself into infinity as long as life exists, is planning to exist, has ceased to exist etc. Life in itself is a paradox., and the only answer to the paradox is a sort of infinite source. That answer and source is what we call "god". There isnt existence, or even the concept of nonexistence without "god". Its something that encompasses everything in everyway etc, and is infinite in nature. Not limited in perception or limited to a sort of singular deity, or deity at all. No beginning and no end.

It's not really reasonable. There are a million species on earth, why would we be the main character of religion when there are a million species that came tens of millions of years before us? Gendering god makes no claim as to give him a biological sex. We say “he” to represent him as the “father” of creation. It’s symbolic in nature not meant to be taken literally.

None had the consciousness of humans. There are conscious animals like dolphins, who are moderately intelligent. They cannot talk though.
