I think it mainly stems from the fact a rubix cube is a toy so you'd be a grown man who's really good at playing with a toy

This is a fair assumption that was justified, but I would argue solving a rubix cube seems a lot more impressive, especially if it can be solved in an extremely short amount of time.

used to be able to solve 2*2 and 3*3 and 4*4 + pyramid, learned the fast ways fo solving it i forgot,
i just remember 2x2 and 3x3 and a bit of 4x4, pyramid its p easy to solve without learning anything

back then my avg was 15 seconds now its prob 30 on a 3x3 on a 4x4 I averaged 1minute

I must say I am impressed. A 1 minute average on a 4x4 is extremely good.
