I eat a modest diet of mostly vegetables, because meats (especially red) speeds up aging. But also because since a couple years ago my gut can no longer handle garbage junk foods well. When i was in my teens/early 20s i could eat an entire bag of potato chips, chocolate, pizza everyday without feeling like shit, but now whenever i pig out on that shit i just feel really sick, and vegetables feel like they soothe my soul from the inside when i eat them. It's a side-effect of being an oldcel, i guess, you'll reach this state too.

I'm especially fond of brusselsprouts, asparagus, broccoli and cabbage.

- access to animal protein as a primary food source generally means access to other nutrients and a lower incidence of malnutrition
- genetics

you worded it as if somebody would be 10 cm below their potential height if they consumed plant protein instead, knew it was bullshit. Even malnourished people do not stray that far from their genetic potential height

Diets won't turn you into a male model.
Most benefits of veganism (low cysteine, methionine, tryptophan) can be achieved by eating a quality source of gelatin.
Best diet for digestion and youth is lots of fruits for carbs and high-quality meat (beef, lamb).
High-carb is generally best for youthfulness. But why not incorporate foods like free-range eggs, liver in small quantities? They are the most nutrients dense foods.

Yes and most importantly - different ethnicity. Agreed, that study doesn't prove shit in this regard.

I really don't think it matters till you're in your 20s, but once you reach them I'd just try to eat a balanced diet where you keep red meat & dairy to a minimum. Chicken, fish, healthy fats, fruits & veg + unprocessed carbs & you'll be golden.

You should, of course, make modifications based off of how your body responds to things. Some people are particularly averse to dairy, gluten etc, others can handle it just fine.

Don't listen to the fat, lazy rednecks on this site that tout low iq shit like LONG TERM carnivore diet (short term is a different story as elimination diets can help you determine your tolerance to certain foods) or muhh eat red meat every day. You wouldn't take advice on getting laid from an incel, don't take diet advice from obese burgercels.
