Haven't really tried true indian food tbh. I live in the Caribbean(West Indies as they call it), so we have curry here but it's different from indian curry but still has tumeric in it.

The area I live in has a bunch of South Indian descendants so we also have some indian flat breads that are spicy chewy and somehwat meaty, and we have a thick ketchup like mixture called "dall" which is light green.

Nah never tried it. My dad says it's just expired slop coated in layers of spices and herbs to mask the mouldy food. Judging by these pictures, he ain't wrong.

I like it, but it is quite unhealthy and estrogenic due to the spices, and cooked vegetables especially the north cuisine. Guilty pleasure.

Only in moderation. If I was to normally eat a full Mallu diet, I'd be bloated and lose my shape. Then I'll start fitting the ugly curry stereotype so, hell nah. Tbh a big reason for Indians looking bad is the diet. Highly estrogenic if not ate in moderation especially the South Indian diet. Mallus and Punjabis have the best diet if the starchy carbs and curries are aten in moderation tho cause we have high protein intakes. Most other Indians eat healthy on paper but almost always lack enough protein during puberty years which can def affect looks
