Does anyone here stretch before lifting?

It has been years since I have stretched before strength training. Do you guys do it? I have heard powerlifters often do thorough full body Stretching session before their lifts @Bitchwhipper2

Dynamic Stretching is part of many strongman and powerlifets pre lift routines. They say it makes them feel better it something.

I stretch because if I don’t I get pain.

It can help to prevent injury but I’ve always just done a very light set before each exercise before going into my working sets instead

Nothing crazy but I'll do some light arm stretching. Helps for my first few reps

Only stretch my neck and legs. Aside from that no.

If you’re older and feel stiffness or some sort of pain/discomfort then do it. I just go straight do like 2 warm sets then straight to my set (only do warmups for the first lift of a specific muscle so like if I’m doing flat bench then pec dec, I’ll warmup for bench but I would go straight to working sets for pec Dec)

not optimal to stretch before lifting as it can decrease maximum strength output. Better to do dynamic warmups (light cardio) for 5 min before lifting weights and stretching afterwards.

I can barely convince myself to lift, ain't no way I could do the stretching also
 
i stretch/rotate the shoulders, spine, neck and back

somehow after that, i feel flexible and all the stiffness is gone
