If yes , then stop taking SSRI immediately and replace it with TCA (Tricyclic Antidepressant) instead

Tell your doctor that you want to stop SSRI and that you want to start taking TCA instead. Specifically ask for the TCA called Amitriptyline

SSRI is NOT RAY PEAT APPROVED

TCA is RAY PEAT APPROVED though

Better yet don't take any of that shit and looksmax to address the root cause of your depression.

Tricyclic antidepressants are powerful, but can gave horrible side effects. Tried them personally, had dry eyes, dry mouth (no saliva), vertigo, leg weakness, sleepiness for like 2 months, then some less dramatic side effects persisted. MAO inhibitors are superior if you need something powerful without "dirty" feeling, just avoid some foods in your diet while on it.

Wrong. It's not bad for you to take TCA. All meds are not bad.

I think you're just following the "natural is good and unnatural is bad" logic/bias when it comes to medication . Like thinking that medication is bad just because it's medication .

How would "looksmaxing" help for people who have depression due to other reasons than their looks? Such as trauma or any other stuff unrelated to appearance and women.

You're just assuming the only reason someone could be depressed is being ugly and that people with good looks can't be depressed. Which is a quite Low IQ take tbh (no offence)

You're propably drinking too little water. The pharmacist asked me if I get dry mouth. I said no and then he said "some people get that, I think you're just good at drinking enough water then:

Drink more water bro

About the other side effects like sleepiness. Bro you're meant to take TCA only before bed. I only take before sleep. If I would take in morning then I'd feel sleepy as fock too haha

Leg weakness or vertigo is not something I've noticed though. Which medication do you take and what dosage?

No, man, I wish it was as easier as taking more water. I've been taking amitriptylline and then switched to clomipramine. Was taking in form of shots at first. Dry eyes and mouth are caused by anticholinergic activity, there is also other activity related to other receptors, that's why they are considered "dirty". There are speculation in some studies that tca long-term may be a risk factor for dementia in later age. I've been taking it before bed and still had a bit of sleepiness. Also, a bit of water retention. Now I'm on Venlafaxine and it feels much more energizing, way easier to be active in gym, for example. I wouldn't recommend it, though, as it's quite hard to come off.
One thing to take into consideration is that people genetically have different levels of enzymes which process these drugs (look up slow and fast metabolizers) . In some it results in longer activity, worse side effects. Sadly, often it's trial-and-error.

I see , maybe it has diffrenct effect on diffrent people.

Venlafaxine is a SNRI. I'm not sure if it's RAY PEAT approved though since SNRI and SSRI are kinda similar to each other. I would have to research that.

I used to be on SSRI before for 6 months (sertraline) but then I told my doctor I wanted to change to Amitriptylin/TCA. SSRI had bad effect on me as it made me a zombie and didn't even help me fall asleep. While on TCA I'm able to fall asleep even if I'm not tired to begin with.

It is not a meme

Ray Peat is legit. They always link scientific studies in their threads that they make on Ray peat forums.

Other forums never link any studies n are just doing broscience or write theories they believe just because they were brainwashed by jew propaganda to believe it. Believing ssri is good is jew propaganda.
