for the ones saying just folllow people u know IRL, he obviously wont know many thousands, and IG status is a big halo in the right context. for some girls the opposite is true, but this is niche appeal i'd say, as social creatures how extroverted, NT and how famous you are absolutely affect one of the most important parts of female psychology - if other women are attracted to you, if you are preselected. their hive mind isnt law, but very real. plus, besides helping your posts get momentum in the algorithm, your follows/likes can tell them if you are an antisocial basement dweller or a fake profile who could show up with a white "free candy" van in person should they meet you, the blue verified mark also makes u stand out in DM's and comments. based idea from OP, but unless the follows looks actually realistic then it instantly failos you just like shoe lifts would, now that most young people prolly know about buying follows and likes

You need to set your account to private so people think "who's this guy, i have to follow him to see who he is". Go to any woman or acquaintance's profile and follow people who follow them Be careful not to make it look too cringe though. People then think "Who is this guy, we have a common follower, I follow him to see who he is". Account on private is the basis, worked for me.
