but why? is there anything to gain from it?
Yes, for me personally at least. Plus some of these books were on sale since a Barnes and noble that use to be near me was closing down, so they were giga cheap.

I can curse an individual and their bloodline, sap the energy out of someone, get them killed, etc. I just need to finish getting the materials for the spells and rituals.
Nice stacks
Thanks, I need to buy more books for the collection tbh.

Yes, it's legit. And I'm already cursed having to live this life so I don't care.

Agreed. The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, etc. are all horrific books. I’m glad someone said it.

I read human nature I believe. I haven’t heard of daily laws, however. The books just seem oddly written.

Totally anecdotal. No coherent arguments or evidence. Despite its veneer of scholarship, it’s literally got nothing to back it up. Very strange. Laws also almost contradict each other. If you just strip Greene’s writings from their history pomp, it’s complete and utter nonsense.

It’s also a bloated, repetitive prose with very little narrative flow. They’re all padded with the same exact identical historical vignettes. I genuinely at times felt like the sequels were echos of one another. Not kidding.

And don’t get me started on how unrealistic they actually are. In any psychology teaching, you’re actually taught and shown evidence as to why this idea Machiavellianism is the only way to power is just rubbish.

You almost question if Greene wrote these intentionally to be spoken about in a satirical way. Essentially fiction.
