Does anyone take selfies with flash and/or back camera?

I found out that the best way to take a selfie is to use flash and your back camera, so I turn my phone around and take a selfie with flash. As retarded as this sounds, it does make you look much better than with the front camera and no flash. But it kind of makes my eyes look retarded some times because it blinds me and then I look dumb. Anyone does the same thing?

I find the results much better because there is no lens distortion and the flash makes my eyes brighter.
