Every day, people interact with others and receive information through an incredible number of nonverbal signals, and their mentality is formed on a subconscious level. That is, if a person is unattractive, they will most often be treated badly, even by kind, tolerant people, who will at least feign pity, which cannot be hidden on a subconscious level. And subconsciously, a person understands all this and breaks down? On the other hand, an attractive person most often receives positive reactions and does not break down or close themselves off?

But let's not use popular media freaks that people take pictures with as examples. People treat them not as individuals, but as celebrities or phenomena. And in order not to break down with an unattractive face, you need to have certain circumstances or mental retardation. A thinking person is one of infinite reflection and analysis.

Question, has physiognomy/the halo effect/self-fulfilling prophecy/discrimination based on appearance already been properly debunked on the forum? That is, when appearance literally shapes personality through endless feedback?

Do you think a mangy lion is treated the same as a lion with a thick mane?
To put it plainly

its very important but there are also other factors that play into it

The most ridiculous thing is that girls are just the top of the iceberg. It affects your whole life. It's easier for a handsome man to make good relationships with people, easier to advance in his career, and damn it, any social interaction will be easier for him.
