Artificial sweeteners? Not to the same extent and cancause higher insulin resistance

Stick to fruits, sugar, honey and such and keep balance. Ensure intake of fat, enough carbs and protein from meats too. Micronutrient profile is also extremely important.

It is not metabolized so it would be 0 calories and would be "better in theory" for spiking insulin while remaining lean
