it doesn't. I used asta for 6 months and got no gyno, theres ur proof. (12mg/day)

I didn't like the price of asta though and I got more results on beta carroten so only use that now.

I take 25k IU/day. It's the same amount that was used in the study that showed it causes more attractive skin colouring after 90 days of use.

There's probably nothing wrong with taking 50k IU/day though if you want more/better/faster results.

Nowadays, I take 50,000 IU daily. I also had a brief period where I took 100,000 IU daily, but this was mainly to eliminate my paleness.
I've only used astaxanthin for about a month and I ditched it after I realized I was getting good results solely on beta carotene (which is also far cheaper):
