Does beta carotene work?

I know it dosent “tan” you as such but will give you a little glow. Is it worth taking and does it work?

Problem is I’m quite against fake tan hahaha. Are you sure about the high dosage? I read somewhere that it’s about consistency and you have to take it for over a month to see results

It's not as "fake" as all the other cheap tans you seen people rubbing on lmao. It uses DHA to bind onto dead skin cells and colour them darker. Not harmful at all, some even say it shows benefits . And the high dosage is true lmao, all the companies selling them are scamming people don't waste your money. Even after a while you may develop an orange undertone, it is not the "appealing" tone you think of. Plus it mainly stays on your palms and soles
