I’m looking into bimax and was wondering if bimax makes your face look lean. Specifically the cheek area. What u guys think?

It will contribute to facial leanness through soft tissue repositioning and stretching skin out

So probably will help a little, but not significantly?

It’ll help significantly but you still have to get to a low bf%, if you’re boneless you’ll still look like a bloated baby if you don’t have a developed lower third

This, but also remember that you will have swelling after surgery for some time (and some people have for quite a long time).

If you got just lefort yeah but bimax probably not.

So if my cheekbones are shit, I’ll probably still look the same? Basically?

Yes the only thing that will change is your side profile your front doesn't change much unless you're severely recessed. I'd say infra malar implants and buccal fat removal will make your face leaner if that's what you're going for

I’m kinda iffy on Buccal fat removal. Is it really as bad as people say?

It's only bad if you have no cheekbones or are already angular and don't need it but if you're lean and still have a fat face I would get it

Are you eligible for bimax if your in America?

Wait so why would only one of the surgeries improve your cheekbone leaness but not both of the surgeries?

because lefort would cause your mandible to sit in a jutted position. try jutting. it reduces zygo prominence

Yeah but it's a difference of jutting to increase percieved jaw forward growth and to cut the jaw and move the jaw but keep the jaw joint in it's natural position to improve it's forward growth.

So basically if I have shit cheekbones. Bimax ain’t helping me? RIP

Fillers perhaps

Actually, my understanding is that, if anything, bimax can flatten a bit your cheekbones, because before bimax they are forward with respect to the recessed maxilla. That’s why some maxfacs add bucal fat to the cheeks in the very same surgery, to compensate a bit.

I see, so they add Buccal fat?? Wouldn’t they wanna get rid of it

Fat adds volume. It’s used all the time as a “raw material” in plastic surgery. Obviously the right implant would be better, but they are very tricky to get right in the cheekbones.

Yeah, that’s why I’m getting infras alongside my bimax so nothing is left behind.

The bimax will make your cheekbones and entire face way better but if your cheekbones are also severely recessed advancing your jaw might accentuate the difference in forward growth.

I'm thinking of getting infras after. It won't be a detriment if you get them at a later time right?

Shouldn’t be an issue getting them later, I’m getting them at the same time just to cut down on costs and recovery time.

better to get them later see how your soft tissue repositions/settles after a year or two, you'll naturally also have to wait that long as going under anaesthesia too much times can make u brain dead.

You also leanmax after bimax recovery via eating with syringe and shit people lose a lot of weight during it

It literally takes minutes, done through the same incision, and VERY much cheaper if done along with bimax

Unfortunately yeah
