If you have downwardgrowth this mean your occlusal plane is tilted downward, surgeon will mâle the occlusale plane normal in ordre to place the jaws so he will do CCW

Surgeon are not idiot

And if your face is too short its because occlusal plane is tilted up so surgeon will do CW to make face longer (longer lower third)

Now the pb is when the surgeon limit hiself, for example he have the choice for 10degree ccw with little advancement or 20degree with more adcancement but choose the 10degree only cause its less risky

Thats why you have good bimax results and other are excellent

Get ccw rotation, it costs nothing extra
