ive seen several people claim that bone smashing works. After doing a little research, I foumd that the main scientific explanation people point to is subperiosteal hematoma calcification. However, from what I’ve read, this process doesn’t seem inherently symmetrical. It also seems unlikely that someone could apply the exact same force, in the exact same way, to both sides of the face (cheekbones or elsewhere) consistently. Because of that, Im wondering whether bone smashing could realistically cause facial asymmetry?

exactly no way to apply identical force bilaterally. asymmetry risk > any theoretical benefit.
