Can and will bonesmashing really work if done properly paired with hella calcium? Thinking of pairing it up with calcium tablets. Ive seen dudes mention that MMA guys have good bones, and they say it came from the hits they have taken to the face from.

it works, i can show my ascension in private if u want

sure but can you also explain to me how it works, just kinda curious and why other people call it dangerous
well people call it dangerous cause of blood vessels that might pop i guess. (probably wont happen) some people say that its subperiosteal hematoma ossification, but that's basically debunked but regional accelatory phenomenon is yet to be disproven i belive. But it really does't matter, you should just try it and be consistent and see if it works👍

  • Mechanical Strain: Impact creates a "vibration" or strain wave through the bone matrix.

  • Fluid Flow: This strain forces interstitial fluid to flow through tiny channels in the bone (lacunae).

  • Cell Signaling: This fluid movement is sensed by osteocytes, which release chemical signals (like prostaglandin E2) that tell the periosteum to wake up.

  • Appositional Growth: The osteoblasts in the periosteum begin laying down new layers of bone directly onto the existing surface.

ive been doing it on and off for a couple months and i ive seen some progress but dont know if its just me debloated slightly/ losing bf or just my facial structure growing in from puberty

does consuming alot of calcium help with this and if so how much do i need?

yeah, but don't go on and off, and just do it for a couple of months and check. That's what i did.

It is Wolff's Law. The same principles apply to more than just functional muscular loading
wolff's law is just osteoblast and osteoclasts, i would guess that you already know this, and since you do you should know that it just builds back the broken bone to its original form. But yes wolff's law is true.

If your diet is low in calcium, eating more will help. If you have a relatively healthy diet, it seems unlikely eating more will make a difference. A gram of bone has about as much calcium as a glass of milk, and the amount of bone we're talking about actually growing from bonesmashing is miniscule. Just try to be healthy I would say

it does work - here's my ascension

Wolff's Law describes the process of adaptive bone hypertrophy. I think we're talking about different things.

no it hardens the bones it doesnt make them bigger

yeah its true

yeah people get upset because they want to believe the meme but realistically speaking hitting yourself in the face with hard objects isnt going to make you ascend from sub 5 to chad

Muscular loading does more to increase bone density, but when we talk about direct, impact loading (like bonesmashing), the adaptation results in studies are pretty clear. There's enough evidence now that no one should be making these same points

show me a study i thought it just hardened the bone like with the muay thai fighters shins

no shit🍔 absolute burger

"bonesmashing wont ascend you from sub 5 to chad" no fucking shit bro:feelsuhh::lul: im crine

regional accelatory phenomenon bro

its basically that cellular turnover accurs at a faster pace and receptor expression is upregulated in osteoblasts and osteoclasts as well as fibroclasts. and this event is always present within controlled trauma

wolff's law also

so many different things, but thats the 2 things which have studies on

or which i have found the most reasonable cause for why bonesmashing works.

There's a ton of studies in here, dig through if you want. You can skip his theorizing of the mechanism of action, it's kind of pointless

Thread 'finally, for the first time, someone ends the debate on whether bone smashing is effective or not ( ultra high iq thread)'
Periosteal bone formation requires specific conditions:
It occurs mainly with fractures, surgical cuts, or severe trauma that the body stabilizes. Random impacts do not produce predictable remodeling. Face bones are not like long bones, Craniofacial bones remodel very slowly and prioritize structural integrity, not cosmetic projection. You are going to give yourself soft tissue damage, fibrosis and scar tissue, nerve injury, chronic inflammation, and possible asymmetry/bone thinning/resorption.

You're just posting the same programmed inhibition AI goyslop anyone will get if they tell an AI they're doing something it things is dangerous.

Periosteal bone formation occurs with any kind of trauma which creates strain waves through the bone matrix. Higher velocity forces are more effective at generating strain waves, therefore less trauma is actually required. The impacts we're talking about are not random, but the fact that it mentions predictability of remodeling in the same sentence shows it realizes the cognitive dissonance. We have substantial reason to believe craniofacial bones are actually more susceptible to adult growth than long bones with close plates, due to sutures never closing. Lastly, yes the injury potential is real.

This is stupid slop don't ever post straight AI arguments again
