There's no good reason not to bonesmash, because there's no inherent negatives, only the neutrality of it not working, and if it does then it's a positive+the swelling is a good temporary filler effect

I wouldn't recommend bonesmshing your ramus though. Way too many nerves and the swelling won't make it look better. I recommend only chin and zygos
