Does BS really work?

I’m really confused about this—I don’t know if it actually works or not. I’ve heard about fibrosis and looked into how it works; sometimes it seems effective, but other times people say the results are just temporary. Could someone give me genuine confirmation that it really works? I’m out of money, and this might be the best option I have.
