Does Castor/Rosemary oil work? My case.

Title, I’m 16. Please don't DNR.

I believe I have diffuse androgenetic alopecia. Started around puberty as linear slow & even thinning across my scalp, gradually worsening slowly over years. My temples are slightly receding, I’m still Norwood 1, but my hair looks very thin when wet or oily. It's worse on the top with patches on the sides and the back is fine.

Doctor won’t prescribe oral minoxidil despite normal blood tests, saying he’s “not sure,” and just told me to monitor it. Retard.
Topical minoxidil is available, but my mother was told it “blocks hormones” and is for 18+, so she won’t allow it even after I showed studies. It’s also not recommended under 18 in my country due to lack of testing. I could take it, but then it would be "on my own risk" and so my mom won't change her mind.

I’m considering these two oils, likely combined and trying to get approval for microneedling, but my mom doesn't seem too keen about that either.

Does it work? Anything that I should know? All answers appreciated. I can answer questions.

fin and dut are 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors. They do not actually block the androgen hormones themselves. Instead, they block the enzyme that converts test into dht in the first place, wich is why they are so efficient.

topical anti androgens are androgen receptor blockers. They work physically sitting on and blocking the androgen receptors in the hair follicles themselves instead of inhibitng 5-AR.

So in simple terms they allow DHT to exist but just not in the scalp.

A popular topical anti androgen would be RU55841

But some say it could go systemic so be careful if you don't want to stunt your development.

I tried going to the doctor to get it the legal and safe way but they are retards. Also my country has strict customs and I'm not trying to deal with that shit. It can be an investigation which can lead to fines and/or legal penalties.

Oh RU66841, that's a research chemical. I'm not sure if I am content with taking a risk on something that has barely been tested on adults, and I'm not even an adult myself.

Alright, any specific microneedle? Do I go for a stamp or a roller? Do I stamp all across my scalp or just my temples? Will also use this for my eyebrows since my eyebrows are naturally thin and so that would help.

Rosemary oil is something my mom is recommending till I turn 18 so she will buy me it if I ask for it and I can probably also ask for castor oil. So I save money by not buying it myself even if I can afford it. Gonna try to convince her about micro needling though.
