it would be totally same.

the whole point of chewing is based on the wolff's law. you generate a strong mechanical stress on your facial bones when you chew hard things. by the time, your bones grow to adapt this situtiation.

thats why you should chew harder things for bones, the epidemic of underdefined facial bones is not caused by lack of chewing but lack of hard chewing.
