so basically I've started cloth clenching with my back teeth, I don't grind my teeth and u know they activate my temporalis muscles. But one thing I haven't been able to learn is if clenching can make you bloated/look bloated.

you will cause your gums to recede by doing this.

wdym recede? Would they go back? And how would that work? Like old lookism threads were on about how clenching with a mouth guard would bring ur jaw forward and develop your maxila or something similar.

check out leanboo's thread, from what i can recall, do not clench or it will push the back part of your mandible upwards giving the upward concaved look to your mandible, cant confirm if this was theoretical or factual

here u go, check it out urself

searched it up for a bit and found out that upward concaved bone on the mandibles called antigonial notch

I've looked into his post, he like talks about good and bad clenching, with good clenching being about activating ur temporalis and bad clenching being about the activation of the massetures. I don't know about the validity of his image sources, they don't load lol.

Maybe I'll invest into a proper mouth guard and do that for a month. If I see no positive changes, I'll stop. This clenching isn't the most comfortable but atp, I'll do anything UNTIL I can get surgery if necessary.

yea the server is currently fucked up, but what is the cloth clenching ur talking about, is it Towel Method that people talk abt all over social media? I've heard that it doesn't imitate the proper jaw movement and can cause tmj, although back chewing that u do is right, only chew with your molars, I suggest getting a bottle of proper mastic gum for chewing, start small and work your way up to big chunk of gum, thats if u can handle the taste but, Anything For PSL jfl:lul:

Bro I basically put a folded up towel at the back of my throat, and just bite on it using my molars, I don't really pull bc that will fuck up my teeth and ion think forward growth is worth looking like a fucking giraffe for, so I just bite into it. I feel like my temporalis obviously and parts of my midface. I think this might work better with a proper mouth guard bc then I don't have to worry about like grinding my teeth. And yea ANYTHING for psl.

I think so tbh.I have bruxism and im bloated 24/7

I guess yeah
damn bro. what do you think of people who do martial arts and clench on a mouth guard for prolonged periods of time? I've looked at a couple before they went pro, the major difference was their midface becoming a tad bit more defined. do you think it's worth the bloating? Worst comes to worst, I'll just botox the bruxism.
