does clenching reduce gonial angle? If not how can i lower it without surgery

It'll increase it and prevent ramus growth

I've been kinda clenching the past couple of months. It didn't effect my ramus as far as i know. If clenching increases it how can i reduce it then. Im 19 btw

Your gonial angle and length of your ramus are inversely proportional.

Longer ramus=smaller gonial angle
Shorter ramus=greater gonial angle.

Therefore, to lessen your gonial angle, you need to lengthen your ramus.

Idk how to do that unfortunately 😕

Idk it feel like i have an antegonial notch my jaw drops a little at the middle. Im not sure its downgrowth. Its not terrible its just not ideal

A small antegonial notch is normal. Almost everybody has one it's just not visible as they're not lean enough.

I would go as far as to say its a sign of a well developed jaw
