yes it matters, now that it's winter buy a long lasting one which excells in cold climate. Buy Jean Paul Gautier Le male elixir or Stronger with you Emporio Armani. (or any as long as u do ur research and search the best winter perfumes) These two are top of top and last very long and keep their strong masculine smell. maybe they're a bit expensive but for their reasonably low price its definitely worth it.

Probably no. Its dirt cheap though when you only use it on dates. Ive never had My Smell complimented.
