Yes it makes me basically not care about anything so I eat as much shitty food as I want and get all bloated and sickly pale from staying in my room and not doing stuff

oh damn well I envy you then

im 91 backwards and was like you at your age

My advice is stop it asap or you'll regret wasting your teen years

time always goes forward and you can never go back

remember that kid

"stop it"

easier said than done.

ik

but that doesn't change the truth of what I said

you need to feel the urgency that your life is ticking away every day

No amount of urgency or philosophy can stop the relentless grip depression has on you.

True but it can spur you to take actions that address the factors that exacerbate it

It’s not gonna fix the chemical problem but it can improve your circumstances and the way you cope in spite of the depression

Yes, depression may lead you to a downwards spiral into bad habits, to stop taking care of your yourself, stop exercising, etc...

I believe since it incrases stress that can also have adverse effects, since stress has tons of effects on overall health.

Also depression may lead to things like insomnia, wich is also a looksmin.

Not to mention the negative effects on intelligence.

Replies are completely different from what i expected...

Shocked, but also not. Comically low amount of ragebait in this thread

Anyways, my word of advice for you is no matter what occurs do not take SSRI's. Depression does unfortunately descend you for a while, not gonna make any assumptions but there's a solid chance this forum plays a part in your misery

Good luck g

The biggest thing that helped me with depression was just getting off my phone. I got so focused on other people online and all the garbage online, comparing myself and feeling like I could never be enough. In reality, a lot of online topics are exaggerated. Things like heightism are way, way worse online than in person. Same with looks. I know plenty, and I mean plenty, of ugly guys with girlfriends.

I’m not going to lie and say looks don’t matter, because they 100% do, but as long as you’re not extremely ugly, people really don’t care.

I hope you feel better, bro. I can only imagine how much this sucks. Lmk if you need somebody to talk to.
