No clear answer to this anywhere. Finasteride only targets the type 2 dht which is not found in bones but what about dutasteride? I am 21 and started finasteride and 250mg test a week and am wondering if i should take dutasteride but i heard facial bones grow and masculinize until 25. SO DOES DHT HELP WITH THAT OR NOT??

How can you be so sure😭
First of all you are fucking 21. Your bones aren’t changing a molecule.

Second of all it’s androgens that cause the change you think you are missing out on, not DHT itself. Even in puberty, Dut would’ve been fine provided you experimented with androgens, probably better off if you experimented with the likes of trestolone/MENT or Tren which more androgenic than DHT.
No one knows I went down this rabbit hole a couple months ago and if someone tells you they are 100% certain either way they’re lying

I dont know

but if u look at photos of people at 21vs25 there is not much change, and if finasteride is working for u i wouldnt switch

No it does not

The two guys on the left have 0 DHT (literally) and they still have a normal bone structure and an identical height, bone density and skeletal mass to their healthy siblings, it have a higher binding affinity to the androgen receptor but it doesn't cause the same physiological response.

mark as solution by clicking the checkmark on the right please :p

False, they still have dht via 5ard1 and 5ard3, they are only deficient in 5ard2

Im not marking it because im still not sure and this is the one and only proof of dht not affecting, so many sources say otherwise and vice versa like wtf is it? Do i need to choose between hair and little bit of face gains?

Hop on 5ARi ASAP.

Dht growing bones in 20s is a massive bluepill cope.

My hairloss protocol rn is finasteride and ru58841, though i heard the self life of premixed RU solutions is bad so probably need to make my own solution with powder like weekly.

Duta is optimal but for hair that's good enough

Yeah seems like it's most cost effective to buy powder, ethanol and pg

But i just started with 250mg test, i am hoping it would benefit my face even if little.

I don't think test and specifically test at that amount would help change face.

if anything gh and tren would help face the most imo or megadosing test

Soft tissue changes over time then atleast and lipolysis? Using it with ai and ordered eplerenone for debloat.

Even on your nanny dose of 250mg Test and Dut you have more androgens than a natty on no 5ARi. When enhanced there is absolutely no downside to Dut.
Okay, what downsides are on dut if not enhanced? You mean like exogenous test gets rid of sexual side effects? I convinced my doctor to give me dutasteride prescription, she said she actually never heard of that being used as hairloss drug (npc) but looked into it and gave it to me. But then i was too high inhib to take it so i sticked with fin xd

There are 0 “face gains” from DHT.
DHT Derivatives promote AR activation and IGF1 Receptor Sensitivity- Mast can improve the sensitivity of the receptors by 1.5-2x which can help with the bone development when in puberty. this guy is 21 so obviously it would do fuck all but for those in puberty it can help.

It’s almost like DHT derivatives are not DHT. They are derivatives which means they have unique pharmacological profiles and pharmacokinetics.

Using DHT derivatives as a means to muh “puberty max” is still fucking retarded. If you were going to go that route there are far far better options. DHT derivatives are worth no one’s time, regardless of puberty or not.

For someone during late puberty (15-16) considering your extensive knowledge on pharmaceuticals do you think DHT gel applied topically to your dick (going to be running with hcg and/or hmg) during my gh cycle could be beneficial?
