Some diet sodas have extra sodium added to enhance the flavour

Besides that, the gas can bloat you (although it mainly bloats your stomach, it can maybe swell/bloat your face a bit too)

Also, if youre microbiome is sensitive,
Aspartame, sucralose, and acesulfame K (which is in diet sodas) can maybe bloat you too

I wouldn't drink too much of it anyways cuz of bones but if you really want to drink diet soda then keep it at 1 small bottle (0.33-0.75l) dont get the canned ones
